The things that I liked the most about my graphic re-design of Moonlander were the lander, the explosions, the ground levels, the thrusters, and the backgrounds. I liked how I changed the plain, old lunar lander into an awesome blue helicopter. I liked how I made the explosions bigger and more colourful than the original explosions. I liked the how the different colour patterns blended together on the ground levels. I also liked how I made the ground levels bigger and more challenging to land on the landing pads. I liked how I changed the original firey thrusters into a circular wind that an actual hellicopter creates while flying through the sky. I liked how I made the backgrounds difficult to fly in by adding the clouds and the Sun, and the fact that you can not touch them without exploding.
The things that could be improved on my graphic re-design of Moonlander is animating the helicopter blades, making a bigger and better explosion, making the levles more difficult, and creating and animating more objects. I could have animated the helicopter blades to make them spin, which would have made it look as if it were flying. I could have made the explosions bigger and more realistic by making them look like a firey mushroom cloud instead of a stringy, colourful type of explosion. I could have made the levels more difficult than they already were by making the ground larger and more pointy, and by adding tighter squeezes in some areas to get to the landing pads. I also could have made the levels more difficult by creating more objects that you can not hit, like trees, birds, and other animals. I also could have created and animated snowfall on my mountain on the first level to make it more exciting.
My Helicopter Lander game is an improvement on the original Moonlander because the explosions are bigger and more colourful, the backgrounds are more challenging to navigate around in order to land on the platforms, the hellicopter is more colourful and realistic than the original lander, the thrusters are more realistic for the helicopter as it produces a type of wind instead of fire when it flies, and ground levels are bigger, more colourful, and add more challenge when trying to land on the platforms.
